Why Choose Our IB Elementary School?
As an IB Primary Years Programme school in Michigan, Conant Elementary "focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside." Our students participate in project-based learning that reflects the PYP philosophy of an integrated curriculum and incorporates 21st Century skills, global-mindedness, and the Common Core State Standards.
Sense of Community
Students develop "Pay it Forward" service projects to cultivate a sense of community within the building and expand their thinking to include the community at large.
International Baccalaureate
We utilize inquiry-based instructional practices that build on children's natural curiosity and encourage students to use critical thinking skills, reflect on their learning and compassionately develop solutions for real-world problems.

District Robotics Center (3100 Lone Pine Rd.)
Registration for robotics is open for students in grades 2-8 for the 2026-27 season. Please register by May 31, 2026.
Kidz Zone is Bloomfield Hills Schools’ before and after school care program and is available at our four elementary schools. The Kidz Zone application window is May 11 at 6 p.m. to May 18 at 6 p.m. Families will receive notice of their application status by July 10. Registration will reopen on July 13. You will be placed on a waitlist and be notified of your child's status within 10 business days of the registration and paperwork being received. Complete details are available on the Kidz Zone website.
